Former Manchester United winger Zoran Tosic has said that Spartak Moscow is his most favourite enemy. CSKA Moscow continued their impressive run in the table after winning against Spartak Moscow recently. The 2-1 win over their rivals has helped CSKA Moscow to move into the third position in the table.

Zoran Tosic has said that the players should be looking at the prospect of continuing their run in order to win the league title this season. He also said that Spartak Moscow are his favourite team to play against. The Serbian winger scored the two goals in a match for CSKA Moscow, as they helped themselves to yet more three points.

Zoran Tosic also said that David Beckham is a huge influence on his career after he learned a lot in football from the former Manchester United midfielder while he was at Old Trafford. Zoran Tosic spent a few years at Old Trafford, but had to ultimately leave the club recently in order to get first team football. He has been getting exactly that at CSKA Moscow. Even though he has played in many derbies during his career, the winger has said that there is an extra motivation within him when it comes to the matches against Spartak Moscow.

“Derby against Spartak has always been special for me. I know how important they are for all people in the club, for the fans and the entire team. So, that gives you an extra motivation. I think Spartak are my favourite enemy. Now the mood has changed and we are confident in our abilities. We are still in the race for second place. It is our goal, we want the Champions League. Now, it seems easier than it was a few games ago. But the next two games are crucial for us,” said Tosic.

CSKA Moscow last out badly in their plans to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League. They suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of French team Lille, although it would have been extremely hard for CSKA Moscow to get anything from the match in the first place.

This is because they were missing a number of key players like Zoran Tosic and their top scorer Seydou Doumbia. While Zoran Tosic was injured, Seydou Doumbia missed the match after being suspended for a red card. Russian teams have not been doing well on the Champions League this season, and the 2-0 defeat is no surprise at this stage of the competition.

Due to the significant number of first-team players missing from the action, CSKA Moscow struggled to make any impact on the match, despite being at home. Hence, it was not surprising to know that Lille dominated the Russian team for most of the match. Their first major chance came in the 20th minute, but Moscow did enough to prevent the French team from taking the lead. However, they could not do anything about the penalty they conceded in the 39th minute, which was then converted by Franck Beria.

Eden Hazard and Joe Cole has been in excellent form for Lille this season in very much the same way Zoran Tosic has been for CSKA Moscow. They two combined to produce a magical performance, which led to the second goal 15 min later. “It’s a fair defeat. Injury problems didn’t allow us to show our best football. As soon as our players are getting a bit better and they have to go out on the pitch right away. Of course, it was a huge setback in a game against such skillful opponents as Lille,” Leonid Slutsky, CSKA coach, said.
