TOSIC EXPLAINS HIS FAILED UNITED CAREER
Serbian international winger Zoran Tosichas explained the reasons behind his failed career at Manchester United as he looked back on his brief stint at Old Trafford under legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson in one of his most popular interviews with The Athletic.
Tosic signed for the Red Devils in January 2009 and he failed to make any impact at the club. The Serbian player told The Athletic that he felt overawed at Manchester United. According to him, he was overwhelmed by the quality of the players in the team at the time of his arrival.
Zoran Tosicsaid he was not at the level of players like Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and others when he signed for Manchester United over a decade ago and that it was a big surprise to see these players train at 200% despite what they have achieved in the game.
The Serbian national team winger featured two times in the league for Manchester United during his one-year stay at the Theatre of Dreams before he left for Partizan Belgrade in his native Serbia.
